Any of these sound familiar?
I never saw it coming.
I was good until ___.
Time hasn’t healed my pain.
I’m overwhelmed by feelings of sadness, anxiety, or anger.
I struggle with ___.
If so, you’re in the right place.
Life is fragile and sometimes unpredictable.
Unexpected or painful experiences can alter our lives in profound ways. When something painful and unexpected happens, it can feel as though our whole world has imploded. The cords of hope that connect us to our life and dreams can become strained or broken.
It might feel as though we will be sad forever. Fear and anxiety can become our constant companions. And anger might show up in the most unexpected ways. Or our minds may be filled with thoughts that we dare not voice.
Perhaps some time has passed and you realize that time, alone, does not heal all wounds.
If so, there is a path forward.
There is hope.

"We are all just a car crash, a diagnosis, an unexpected phone call, a newfound love, or a broken heart away from becoming a completely different person." ~ Samuel Decker Thompson
There have been times, like this, that changed me in ways that I could never have predicted. And while I’ve experienced many difficulties and losses over the course of my life, the two that challenged everything that I thought I knew (both personally and professionally) were my daughter’s brain injury and my son’s death. The world and all my relationships looked completely different through the lens of heartbreak, anxiety, uncertainty, anger and sadness. And that’s where I meet many of my clients - piecing together their lives and struggling with some of the same things.
I truly consider it honor to be invited (however brief) to accompany you on your journey through the matrix of life and experience more peace, connection, or healing.
I offer a therapeutic space dedicated to your personal wellbeing. You don’t have to go through it alone.
Online Psychotherapy Services
Individual Therapy
One-on-one therapy can be a powerful and effective strategy to improve your life. During individual counseling, you will have the opportunity and flexibility to address a wide variety of topics. This might include grief/loss, trauma/ PTSD, injury, illness, or intergenerational patterns.
Virtual EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is a gentle neurobiological form of exposure therapy that significantly reduces reactivity (such as panic, anxiety, fear, etc.) for individuals and couples following a devastating loss or traumatic event.
Trauma-Informed Couples Counseling
Have you experienced a significant loss or traumatic event? Or is something that happened in the past impacting your relationship? Couples counseling can help you create emotional safety, build awareness, increase understanding, find meaning and enhance connection when there is a history of developmental trauma or in the aftermath of a life-altering event (such as the loss of a child or a shared traumatic event).

You can expect to have my undivided attention. And I hope that you will find that I’m genuinely interested in you and curious about what you think and feel.
For many people, healing and personal growth are intrinsically interconnected with their self-care practices. Accordingly, I invite you to include any of your creative, physical, or spiritual resources in the therapeutic process. This includes, but is not limited to, prayer, art, music, journaling, meditation, yoga, massage, tarot, sound therapy, dance, energy work (e.g. Reiki), crystal healing, aromatherapy, acupuncture, communing with nature, breathwork… and so much more….
My approach to therapy is transpersonal, systemic and holistic with a heart-centered focus on supporting the whole person and honoring the deeply personal and existential experiences that are often foundational for psychological healing and personal growth.
Fundamentally, I believe that the wisdom inherent in your lived experiences is vital to the process of discovery, meaning, and growth.
