Beautiful are those whose brokenness gives birth to transformation and wisdom.”

Any of these sound familiar?

I never saw it coming.

I was good until ___.

Time hasn’t healed my pain.

I’m overwhelmed by feelings of sadness, anxiety, or anger.

I struggle with ___.

If so, you’re in the right place.

Life is fragile and sometimes unpredictable.

Unexpected or painful experiences can alter our lives in profound ways. When something painful and unexpected happens, it can feel as though our whole world has imploded. The cords of hope that connect us to our life and dreams can become strained or broken.

It might feel as though we will be sad forever. Fear and anxiety can become our constant companions. And anger might show up in the most unexpected ways. Or our minds may be filled with thoughts that we dare not voice.

Perhaps some time has passed and you realize that time, alone, does not heal all wounds.

If so, there is a path forward.

There is hope.

About Me

We are all just a car crash, a diagnosis, an unexpected phone call, a newfound love, or a broken heart away from becoming a completely different person." ~ Samuel Decker Thompson

Like others, there have been losses and events that changed me in ways I could never have predicted. Two experiences that profoundly challenged everything that I thought I knew (both personally and professionally) were my daughter’s brain injury and my son’s death.

The world and all my relationships looked completely different through the lens of heartbreak, anxiety, uncertainty, anger, and sadness. And that’s where I meet many of my clients - piecing together their lives and struggling with some of the same things.

I truly consider it honor to be invited (however brief) to accompany you on your journey through the matrix of life as you experience more peace, connection, and healing.

My Approach to Therapy

As an integrative, holistic therapist, I am comfortable blending various evidenced-based counseling modalities while also honoring the intuitive, sacred knowing of the heart.

Grieving, healing, and personal growth are often accompanied by existential questioning and/or the need to create meaning. Accordingly, I invite you to include any cherished creative, self-care or spiritual resources as part of the therapeutic process. This includes, but is not limited to, prayer, art, music, journaling, meditation, yoga, massage, sound therapy, dance, energy work, crystals, aromatherapy, communing with nature, breathwork, etc.

Fundamentally, I believe that the wisdom inherit in your lived experience is foundational to the process of personal growth. I hope to create a space where your internal wisdom shines brightly, illuminating the path ahead.
